GoThere. GotHere.
There's no better feeling than being lost and found, and that's the kind of feeling I always get while travelling on foreign land, be it by land, air or water. Remember the time when we were kids and the grown-ups would ask us what we wanted to be/do when we grow up? Well, my answer would always be: To travel the world and see every corner of it. I've always believed that there's more to life than just what I see in the four corners of my room. I'm the type of person that can't be contained in one small space. I like looking for adventure, I like going out, whether it's a 10-minuter drive to a whole-in-a-wall restaurant, a 1 hour drive to the next city, a 2 hour road trip out of town or a 3 hour plane ride overseas. Travelling makes me appreciate things, people and their cultures, and at the same time it also makes me appreciate my own. It gives me a sense of who I am as an individual and erases my indifference to others. It give me knowledge and at the same time makes me hungry for more. Once I start to know what I'm missing, I'll definitely crave for more.
When we were kids, our parents would always tale us on long road trips up north, where we would spend our summer weekends by the beach. The long road trip will always be accompanied by a play list which would consist of songs from The beach boys, Beatles and Jose Mari Chan.
Who would not forget your annual family trips to Tagaytay? Well, I'll definitely would't. The short ride from Manila up in the mountains is all worth it, the cold weather, the amazing view, scrumptious food and of course, the warm company of your family!
A well spent summer 2000 in the white sandy beaches of Boracay. This was the time when Boracay was still untouched, not that much establishments and not much tourists. I will never forget my first plane ride in the colorful aircraft of Asian Spirit, it was magical!
