B I N T A N, I N D O N E S I A

There's something about the combination of salt water, sand and the sun that emits good vibrations. The beach has always been my top favourite places in the world. It's like there's nothing that could go wrong whenever you're under the sun relaxing and having fun. 2 weeks ago, my friends and I finally had time to go to the beach, a real beach. Not Sentosa! (I am against Sentosa, and I don't count it as a legit beach, and I dare not swim there.) We hopped on a ferry boat at Tanah Merah jetty port early in the morning and alas, after 45 minutes or so, we arrived in Bintan, Indonesia! Bintan or  N egeri Segantang Lada  (in local terms) is a small island located at the south of Singapore. (correct me if I'm wrong). It is part of the Riau archipelago of Indonesia. W A N D E R L A N E

Welcome one and all to the land of indie hipster and flower children!! AKA Laneway Festival and Wanderland Festival! So yeah, I've been meaning to blog about these 2 events for quite some time now and I've been delaying it for so long because I could not just find the right words to briefly describe 'em. (Or mostly because I could not find the time to do so!) I'll try to do my best though, so here goes nothing! ∆∆∆ During the first half of the year, I was lucky enough to have attended 2 of the much awaited music festivals in the South East Asia, specifically in Singapore and my home town, Manila. Living in another country not to far from home, has its perks and one of them is travelling back and fro for the weekend.
